Rent, staff, stock and accounting arrive every month
In a strong month and in a weak one. In low season the shop is empty, and the lease and the salaries are due all the same.
In a strong month and in a weak one. In low season the shop is empty, and the lease and the salaries are due all the same.
That is the paid-up capital for one work permit, plus four Thai salaries every month, plus fit-out and stock — before the first customer walks in.
A 7-Eleven contract runs for 6 to 10 years, royalties take 35–45% of gross profit, and the franchise is open to Thai nationals only.
Scaling an offline business means more people, more premises and more hours on site. Leaving for a month puts it at risk.
You already know how a classic business works. Here is how a model with zero running costs works, step by step.
Every sale raises the profit on the ones that follow. The first sales bring 11,100 THB each, and the commission grows with every sale you have made, up to 66,600 THB for one sale. The whole calculation is built on personal sales of the flagship model alone.
11,100 THB for each of the first 2 sales, 22,200 THB for sales 3 to 10. 199,800 THB for the ten, and your investment comes back on the ninth sale.
33,300 THB for every sale: another 333,000 THB. From the start of the path that adds up to 532,800 THB.
Each next sale brings 44,400 THB. Six of them make 266,400 THB a month. After 100 sales, four a month bring the same.
The path is measured in sales, and in sales it is known exactly. The pace in months depends on how much time you give to talking to people, so I do not promise a term. Until your investment comes back, I accompany you personally.
| Option | Start | Running costs | What you keep |
|---|---|---|---|
| 7-Eleven franchise, type B | 1,500,000 THB | royalty 35–45% of gross profit | 20,000–30,000 THB a month |
| 7-Eleven franchise, type C | 3,000,000 THB plus your own premises | royalty 35–45% of gross profit | 56% of the gross margin |
| Coffee shop in Bangkok | 630,000–2,200,000 THB | 140,000–455,000 THB a month | break-even in 12–18 months |
| A shop on Koh Phangan | 2,000,000 THB of paid-up capital, plus fit-out and stock | rent 25,000–77,000 THB and four Thai salaries from 40,000 THB a month | what is left after rent, staff and stock |
| Direct sales model | 174,410 THB | 0 THB | a fixed commission per sale that only grows |
174,410 THB is the price of the flagship model of the product, VAT included. It stays in your home and serves for 15 to 20 years: there is no franchise fee, rent or repair fund in that sum. In this model there are no mandatory sales volumes and no other mandatory conditions.
Yes. The company has its own branch in Thailand with an office in Bangkok, and you work under a distributor agreement with it. A foreigner can register with three conditions: a valid Thai bank account, an active Thai work permit with its expiry date shown, and no previous registration with any other branch of the company anywhere in the world.
174,410 THB, VAT included: the price of the flagship model of the product for your own use. People start with the product for themselves, and that is the whole starting investment.
Mandatory monthly costs are 0 THB: no rent, staff, stock or mandatory sales volumes. The company deducts a Business Support Fee from commissions; the rate depends on your membership tier, and I show it in the plan.
It is a direct sales company with a multi-level scheme, and I show its mechanics in full, in figures. Profit comes from sales of a real product to end clients. If you want, you can also teach others and receive a commission from their sales. A team is optional: the whole plan works on personal sales.
It is measured in sales: 10, then 20, then 6 a month. Months differ for everyone and depend on how much time you give to talking to people. I do not promise fast or guaranteed profit.
A commission is personal income on the progressive scale: nothing on the first 150,000 THB a year, then 5% to 35% on the parts above it. There are no payroll taxes, because there are no employees.
Yes. You can be in Thailand while your client is in Germany or Japan. There is no rent, warehouse or office, so the business is not tied to one place.
The step-by-step business plan shows the whole model in figures: the path to 250,000 THB a month, the comparison with other businesses in Thailand, the taxes and the risks. After reading it, message me and we will see whether this model suits you.
